Brush Lettering Course on CreativeLive
When I was first contacted by CreativeLive to teach a series of brush lettering classes, I was both excited and terrified!
I would be teaching to a live studio audience and over 5,000 people had RSVP'd to tune in to the live event. It was filmed over six hours - three two hour segments in which we'd be filming and streaming live. Things had to be as perfect as possible. Editing would occur later, but that's not the version people would see who watched it live!
I spent months preparing for it, taking all of the content and experience I had learned from teaching over 30 lettering workshops and distilling it into a presentation, handouts and notes that I would rehearse for hours before the live event. All went well and I am thrilled with how it turned out. I now have enough content to write a book!
